Le esigenze del Club Bielderberg

Think tank pioniere in Francia, l’Institut Montaigne si pone due obiettivi principali: influenzare il dibattito pubblico con il contributo di idee pragmatiche ed originali; concorrere alla definizione delle politiche pubbliche allo scopo di migliorare l’ambiente economico e sociale francese.L’istituto, finanziato prevalentemente da contributi privati, edita diversi tipi di pubblicazioni ed organizza dibattiti e seminari attorno a tre temi principali: Mobilità e coesione sociale; Modernizzazione della sfera pubblica; Strategie economiche ed europee.Raccoglie intorno a sé eminenti studiosi e ricercatori francesi di estrazione culturale ed esperienza autorevole e collabora con altri centri studi internazionali tra cui The Economist, Center for European Reform, French American Foundation, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Notre Europe, American University of Paris, Institut Aspen France, OCDE. Claude Bébéar ne è il fondatore.
Cosa c’enra col Club Bildeergerg? Niente a parte il fatto che il presidente del’allegro Club, tale Henri De Castries, Ex Presidente e Amministratore Delegato AXA, ne è attualmente il Presidente. Oltre a lui, il Comitato Direttivo è composto da 30 persone, tra cui solo due italiani, John Elkann e Lilli Gruber. Di seguito elencato l’intero gruppo:

I membri sono eletti ogquattro anni.
Sin dalla sua inaugurazione nel 1954, Bilderberg è stato un forum annuale per le discussioni informali, ideato per favorire il dialogo tra Europa e Nord America. Ogni anno, tra 120-150 leader politici e esperti dell'industria, della finanza, dell'università e dei media sono invitati a partecipare alla riunione. Circa due terzi dei partecipanti provengono dall'Europa e il resto da Nord America; Un terzo dalla politica e dal governo e il resto da altri campi. L'incontro è un forum per le discussioni informali sui megatrends e sui principali problemi del mondo. Le riunioni si svolgono sotto la Chatham House Rule, che afferma che i partecipanti sono liberi di utilizzare le informazioni ricevute, ma né l'identità né l'affiliazione degli oratori o di qualsiasi altro partecipante possono essere rivelati. Grazie alla natura privata dell'incontro, i partecipanti non sono vincolati dalle convenzioni del proprio ufficio o da posizioni prestabilite. In quanto tali, possono richiedere tempo per ascoltare, riflettere e acquisire intuizioni. Non esiste un programma dettagliato, non si propongono risoluzioni, non vengono presi voti e non vengono emessi dichiarazioni politiche. Le riunioni di Bilderberg non hanno mai cercato alcuna attenzione pubblica. Una conferenza stampa annuale alla vigilia dell'incontro è stata tenuta per diversi decenni fino agli anni '90, ma è stata interrotta per mancanza di interesse. Tuttavia, l'elenco dei partecipanti, i temi principali e la posizione sono sempre pubblicati pochi giorni prima di ogni riunione.

Qui si ferma l’ufficialità e si comincia a lavorare di intuito e magari la fantasia ci indica una falsa strada, ma a noi non è concesso di più. Possiamo solo confrontare gli argomenti trattati gli scorsi anni con la cronaca che riguarda gli stessi e magari cercarci qualche evento in particolare che “potrebbe” avere un nesso con una pianificazione da parte di questi signori.
